Table Capture – Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

Table Capture does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, or table data. All processing of table content happens locally on your device. The extension only reads table data from the page you are viewing when you explicitly trigger the capture action.

2. Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions for the sole purpose of its functionality:

• activeTab – to access the current tab's DOM and extract table data when you click the extension icon or use the context menu.
• contextMenus – to show the "Copy table" menu item when you right-click on a table element.
• clipboardWrite – to copy the captured table to your clipboard in plain text format.
• storage – to save your user preferences locally, such as the default copy format (Tab-separated, CSV, HTML, etc.).

3. Third-Party Services

Table Capture does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with any external servers or services. The extension works entirely offline and does not transmit any information over the internet.

4. Uninstall Feedback

When you uninstall the extension, a feedback page may open in your browser. Submitting feedback is optional. The feedback form sends your responses and browser language to a private server for the sole purpose of improving the extension. No personal identifiers are collected.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
